If you choose to use a participating insurance plan, your insurance company will determine any financial responsibility you may have based on the specifics of your individual policy. Typically, you can expect to pay the cost of an in-person clinic visit with your primary care doctor. This cost will be for the video visit with your physician, and it does not include any prescription medication costs or follow-up visits, if deemed applicable. This cost is for an expert evaluation and recommendation – if your HeP doctor believes an in person visit to the emergency department is warranted that evening, you will still be responsible for the HeP visit fee.
